Controlling Weeds Along the North Santiam River

Controlling Weeds Along the North Santiam River

Controlling weeds along the North Santiam River is an important way to help keep our watershed clean and healthy.

That’s why the North Santiam Watershed Council, a local non-governmental group of volunteers, will reach out again in the Spring of 2013 to help landowners with treatment assistance and/or technical advice on weed control control options. And the Marion Soil and Water Conservation District will hold plant identification workshops for North Santiam Canyon residents.

Join us at the January 10th North Santiam Watershed Council Meeting meeting to learn more about these efforts to control noxious weeds in the North Santiam Watershed!

Our meetings are held at the Stayton Community Center,  400 W Virginia St, Stayton. Click here for a map.

All Council meetings are open to anyone with an interest in the North Santiam River and the activities of the North Santiam Watershed Council.
