Regional Landowner Partnership Coordinator Hired
Kelly Foley has recently joined the North Santiam Watershed Council (NSWC) as the new Regional Landowner Partnership Coordinator. Kelly Foley is an employee of Cascade Pacific RC&D, the council’s employer of record, and will be supervised by the NSWC. Kelly will be working in the North Santiam, South Santiam and Calapooia Watershed councils as a shared outreach coordinator.
Prior to this, she worked with the Malheur Agricultural Experiment Station as a graduate research assistant. Her work with the station included a comparative conventional/reduced tillage trial, ground and surface water education and outreach, and a research project examining voluntary adoption of sustainable irrigation, fertilization, and nutrient management practices. She holds a B.A. in Geology and Business from Wittenberg University and is working towards an M.S. in Water Resources Policy and Management from Oregon State University. In her spare time, she enjoys going on adventures and doing anything outside including running, camping, soccer, or hiking.
