Why enroll in CREP?
- Stabilize stream banks.
- Manage invasive species
- Reduce erosion and nutrient enrichment
- Improve water quality
- Restore riparian habitat and native vegetation
- Receive annual rental payments for enrolled CREP acres
Do I qualify for CREP?
- Must have owned or leased land for more than 1 year
- Land must be cropland or marginal pasture along a stream or wetland
- Land must have a historic presence of salmon or steelhead or be covered by Oregon’s Water Quality Management Plan
